Our Sister’s Keeper is a startup which endeavors to meet the basic needs of those who find themselves in a virtually impossible situation which requires outside assistance regardless of the region on planet earth. The reality of life is that those who are not part of the “in” crowd are victims of unregulated greed, effects of climate change, war, poverty, etc. As each year passes more and more persons around the world are falling into extreme poverty and unable to meet the ever increasing challenges of basic living. When you couple life in the 2000’s with a planet that is becoming more and more uninhabitable peoples are being pushed beyond their abilities.
It is the goal of Our Sister’s Keeper to attempt to meet some of the needs of the desparate with the financial support of those who want and can assist.
Wishing on a Star, the classic R&B song initially recorded by Rose Royce in the 70’s has been reimagined by keyboardist/vocalist Ameni. The song is being offered as a fundraiser for Our Sister’s Keepers endeavors. Initially the recording was to be released to the public like a typical new song, but the decision was made to use the recording as a fundraiser for Our Sister’s Keeper. The hope is that this will be the first of many projects to raise awareness and support for what Our Sister’s Keeper is attempting to do.
